First of all, you do want to give all of your items away, but you want to make sure that they get into the right hands - hands that are actually going to enjoy them and that are going to allow you to actually get the right kind of business out of your experience. So, how do you know who to give your printed mouse mats to?
Well, remember that the main point of giving out promotional printed mouse mats is going to be actually being able to get some business out of it. So, you have to focus on who your group of customers is going to be, and try to get the mouse mats into their hands. Do you want to be giving yours away to children? This is going to be your biggest challenge, and it is something that some people forget all about. But, when you are giving out materials, you want to first of all think about who your customers should be. Do you want mostly younger people, or older people? It is often hard to focus on promotional items because you simply don’t know exactly what is going to happen to them. And a lot of them are going to be thrown away or discarded, so you want to think carefully about who you are giving them to. Remember that each time you give out an item, you have a chance to not only make a sale, but also to influence new potential customers as well.
