6) Invest in Pay-Per-Click Advertising

Pay-per-click advertising is essentially running a classifed ad online. Every time someone clicks on your ad for more information, you pay a fee. But the people who click your ad are interested in what you sell. You can target your ad locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Before you consider this type of advertsing, it is imperative that you educate yourself first.

7) Get involved in online communities

Go to where your customers hang out online. They will express their frustrations, concerns and wants with regards to what you sell. Answer questions so people come to view you as the “Go-To” guy or gal. That will translate into money in your pocket because they will look to you to help them buy correctly.

8) Use email marketing

Email marketing is what many people think of when they think of spam. It is not if you do it right. You must have an existing relationship of some kind to send email, otherwise you will be spamming. People consider their email box as private and only want a select number of people they choose to have the address. The best way to use email is to send information that can help a potential customer in their buying decision.

Some of these strategies you may not have thought about before or known about. Many salespeople will read these and say “I really should do that” and then do nothing. The worst thing you can do is nothing. Don’t get stuck in “paralysis of analysis.” Pick just one method that resonates with you and get started right away.
