People who have the passion to write and who have the inkling to earn additional income can now turn to blogging. From a mere way to while away one’s time or a mere platform for people to air their views, comments and opinions on just about anything under the sun, blogging now has evolved into a great way to earn money. Here are six high impact steps for you to breakthrough with blogging:

1. Sign up with a pay per blog post program. There are many programs now that pay bloggers for every entry they make about a certain product, service or company.

2. Offer your services as a ghost blogger. There are individuals and companies out there that hire bloggers to do the writing on their behalf. You can charge per month or by entry. Promote your services via email blasts and posts in message boards, electronic groups or forums.

3. Bid for blogging projects. There are a lot of websites where entities can post advertisements or announcements with regard to their need for bloggers. You could sign up with these websites and place a bid on those projects.

4. Develop your own blog and write compelling reviews and articles about certain products or individuals. Soon enough, you will entice more readers and the people or companies you’ve blogged about may contact and pay you for more reviews.

5. Always give credit to whom and where credit is due. If you got information, pictures or quotes from another website, always give proper credit by posting a link back or acknowledgment. This helps build your reputation as a fair blogger.

6. Exchange links with other blogs. Ask the owner of a certain blog to include you in his blog roll and offer to do the same with his blog.
