Targeted E-book Creation - 3 Steps You Need To Do Before Writing An E-book

In article marketing, even e-books are used as advertising vehicles. They’re just as effective as articles in promoting a website. They also have an added advantage that articles don’t have—e-books can be marketed as incentives to attract more people to website that needs to generate traffic. To create an e-book that works effectively as a marketing tool, you need to identify your target market. Just like articles in article marketing, e-books need to be directed to the people you want to gain as future customers.

To make sure your e-book is targeted towards your desired market, here are some tips you might find helpful:

1.) Before deciding to write down anything, the first thing you need to do is choose a niche market you want to focus on. A niche market is a better choice compared to a mainstream one especially if you’re a beginner. Niche markets are smaller and often have highly specialized needs. Aside from having less competition, you’ll have a more narrowed down topic to write about, which is easier to handle compared to a broad topic.

2.) After choosing your niche market, it’s time to research what the people in that market needs. Do they have demands that are not being met? Are they an untapped market whose potential is often overlooked? Is there a lack of information related to their needs? If your answer to any of these questions is a yes, you have something good to work on in your hands. You can formulate a suitable topic to write about based on the current void your chosen niche market has.

3.) Once you have your topic, carefully design your outline. Make sure that your outline addresses key points that need to be discussed in detail in your e-book. It’s a good idea to revise your outline as you do your research until you’re confident that your final version is an excellent skeletal framework for your e-book.
