There is a very good, positive, and important reason for knowing what is in The Word Of God, and why it is there.

We are studying in Luke Chapter 11 and at verse 13 we read of Jesus Christ saying to His disciples - how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him.

This is one of the greatest gifts any man or woman can receive - the gift of the Holy Spirit. To receive that anointing - to receive that holy power - to receive the Holy Spirit as Jesus received when He came up out of the Jordan River is a most precious experience. If only the leaders of the nations would seek this anointing - what a different world this could be.

Managing great sales professionals involves three components. Sales managers need to know how to sell; how to create a model of a sales process so that it can be replicated or improved; and how to motivate top sales professionals. Each of these requires unusual skill in observing and analyzing human behaviour and offering feedback in ways that builds agreement.

Let’s begin with the first of the components: knowing how to sell. It is deceptively straightforward; after all, most sales managers begin as competent sales professionals. They can sell. Does that mean that they know how they achieve results?

A parents meeting should be organized at least two to four weeks before the start of the season. Being a coach, it is your duty to give importance to a parents meeting.

A handout of three or four pages that includes is a list of the team with phone numbers and certain philosophies and organizational items should be prepared.

A parents meeting makes for a better run season for the kids, the parents and the coach. But, at the same time, make sure that this meeting should not last for more than ten to fifteen minutes.

Sometimes goal setting becomes even more effective after you have experienced a change in your perspective.

For example, my perspective on earning an income changed from “you have to work your tail off for everything you get” to “it is possible to enjoyably earn big money by writing it once and selling it many times.”

It took communicating with someone who was having a whale of a time actually doing just that, to see that it was indeed possible - and then comparing my perspective of “it might be possible” to his, that “it was inevitable”.

Seeking coaching or counseling is often the last thing people try before they give up. It’s the last attempt because most people repeat the ineffective solutions they’ve tried before (hoping that “this time it will work”), or they try to change the components of the problem (which solves the problem, in a way) or they give up and ignore the issue hoping time will make it disappear. Finally if a problem persists after these solutions, maybe (just maybe) the brave-hearted seek outside assistance.
