Clouding disease called Cataract

In ophthalmology, a cataract is known as the opacity of the eye lens. Cataracts are a clouding of the lens of the eye.
Talk to your eye doctor. About a year ago, a new kind of intraoccular implant was developed that lets your eye focus just as it did before the surgery.
Cataract surgery is when doctors remove the old clouded lens from inside the eye and normally replace it with a new plastic one. The word ‘phaco’ is a word used in medicine to refer to the lens inside the eye. It is combined with other words such as ‘phacoemulsification’ which means removing the lens from the eye.
