Senior citizens receive a lot of elder care benefits and Social Security is just one of them. Social Security is one of the long term benefits that the elderly receive as well as Medicare. Receiving benefits usually starts at age 65 and continues until the death of the individual. Usually this is a long time approach, being paid out in years.
