If you are interested in having an authentic Dutch experience while visiting Amsterdam, then you will want to rent a bike to get around on instead of a car. Bicycling is the best way to tour Amsterdam, and fortunately, Amsterdam is a very bicycle friendly city. In fact, about half of the traffic on Amsterdam’s streets is made up of bicycles.

I am a Farrier and I have been kicked by horses. All I can say is it’s no laughing matter and I’ve been very lucky to come out of it with no permanent physical problems. Others are not so lucky; I’ve known people who have died from horse kicks. This article is about just such a possibility.
