Most experts agree that our diets are lacking in a wide variety of vitamins and minerals. You can either get those nutrients from a multi-vitamin or from green food formulas. Unfortunately, most people supplement their diets with multi-vitamins. These supplements are made from the cheapest synthetic sources available. The nutrients found in multi-vitamins are made from fractionated, isolated or synthetic sources that can potentially create nutritional imbalances in the body. Further, synthetic nutrients are poorly absorbed by the body as they have been stripped of all their vital co factors naturally present in foods. In addition, multi-vitamins typically contain toxic amounts of certain vitamins and minerals which can cause serious health problems.
